Company Workshops

Are you looking for recycling workshops? As team events or for external projects? Then you've come to the right place. Since 2020, we have been running a variety of plastic recycling workshops together with companies and event agencies. We act as an external implementer for workshop series and organise one-off events. Thematically, we deal with plastic recycling and plastic avoidance - in a very practical way by melting your plastic waste into new objects. We would be happy to invite you to the Haus der Materialisierung at Alexanderplatz or to come to your place with our machines.

Please contact us for a non-binding offer, we will be happy to develop a concept according to your needs.

We are aware that schools are on a tight budget and are committed to making the workshops possible for you. That's why we are especially happy about our collaboration with Adidas, who will cover the costs of your plastic avoidance workshop. We also offer other options - just send us a request and we will clarify the details.

Workshop scope

  • Duration: 2 hours
  • Location: at your place or at our place at Alexanderplatz
  • MachinesWe will bring plastic recycling machines and all materials and tools with us
  • Preparation: Workshop participants will collect plastic at home for a week and bring it cleaned to the workshop
  • Highlight: The participants recycle the plastic together into something new
  • Formats: Ask us about other formats. We also organise project weeks, seminars for universities and accompany companies in projects

Workshop schedule

1. Analysis

First, we analyse together the plastic we brought with us. We learn how to distinguish between the 7 types of plastic, where plastic is misused and what is positive about it.

2. Production

We melt new objects from old plastic with our machine, e.g. rulers, key rings etc. . Everyone has a hand in this! This way we learn how easy it is to recycle plastic waste into something new - knowledge that sticks.

3. Discussion

We clarify any questionshat arose during the workshop and talk about plastic alternatives.
